On all Hallow's Eve, they say the veil thins and the living can commune with the dead.

But what if, perhaps, this too applied to the undead? What secrets could be laid bare? What dreadful truths would be revealed?

Fortunately for you, these secrets could be yours.

Unfortunately for you, they may cost you your life.

Your chances for survival are slim, but society is on your side. Be thorough. Be fast. And above all, know your pursuer.

Developed for Spooktober 2024, In Sanguine Est combines a layered vampiric sojourn with heart-pumping, timed house defense sections where you must close off your haven, and failing that, hide from the hunter that will do anything to defend his secrets and his freedom. 

• Male or Female Protagonist choice, with [very] slightly different dialogue and interactions
• Different costumes for each
• Tense House Defense gameplay with point-and-click elements
• A thrilling story with plenty of dark secrets
• Expected playtime (Spooktober build): approximately 45mins at a regular reading pace with no do-overs. 1hr to complete the gallery.

• "Dating Sim" (Learn enough to convince him you're worth keeping around! And perhaps, learn he's not so bad...?)

• Explorable Hub map
• Deeper house defense gameplay, with multiple methods of keeping your pursuer out of the building or hiding if they do get in

• Deeper differences between protagonists
